At Emerge we provide help from a Christian perspective for singles, couples, nuclear, and blended families. We will aid you in identifying the source of your problems and worries, help you find the wisdom of God to overcome your challenge, and empower you to progressively make the right choices for any situation.
We believe that humans’ spiritual, psychological and physiological dimensions are intricately related, and we rely on God-given resources (theology, psychology and medical science) and proven methods of cognitive and behavioural therapy. We combine these principles with effective prayer-based support, to help our clients achieve wholeness, regardless of what they are facing. Whether it involves depression, a deep feeling of loneliness, or a troubled marriage, we believe nothing should keep you away from a life filled with joy and fulfilment and the abundance of God’s love.
We offer face to face counsel in GTA (The Greater Toronto area) and by and internet or skype world wide. This includes counselling individuals and families in Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, and Woodbridge. We offer the assistance and guidance of our pastoral counsellors and psychologists, each one equipped with the suitable background to serve and offer spiritual support.
Rev. George Sukhdeo COUNSELLOR/COACH
Rev. George Sukhdeo is a Christian Counsellor for individuals, families and couples. His passion is helping people bring to fruitation a peaceful, happy and fulfilling life. As a man of great compassion, he ministers beyond the walls of academic limitations. George is a graduate of C.B.C. with a BA in Theology; Master’s of Ministry in Christian Counselling and has completed the IPC program under the supervision of the well-known Dr. Richard Dobbins. He is a member of the AACC (American Association of Christian Counsellors) and the OACCPP (Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrics and Psychotherapists).
George is also an ordained minister with the PAOC, has pastored for twenty-two years and counselled for over fifteen years. He has been married for over forty-two years and has three adult children and five grandchildren.
